On May 25 2018 the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force superseding all existing EU legislation regarding Data Protection.

The Lowe & Fletcher Group is committed to ensuring all personal data is stored and processed correctly in line with GDPR.

Below is a summary of how we comply with GDPR, what personal information we may hold about yourself and how we use this data.

GDPR – Processing of Personal Data

The EU deadline for compliance to GDPR falls on May 25 2018. GDPR is an EU regulation providing revised requirements for organisations processing the personal data of individuals within the EU and therefore applies to all European companies and all of the Lowe & Fletcher Group European operations.

To comply with the new regulations, there must be a lawful basis for us to collect, process and store any personal data that you provide us with. For Lowe & Fletcher Group companies, being a customer or prospect of one of our operations provides this basis, as well as any active consent you may have given us to receive information or contact from a Lowe & Fletcher Group company; including but not limited to, sales enquiries, customer service issues, marketing information, quality management, lead generation and management (including online, trade events and general sales enquiries), or enquiries or requests through our website or email servers.

For all customers, including current, recent and prospective ones the data provided by you that we hold includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Company Information

Name, address and contact details; legal ownership and registration details; trading premises; company background; company activity; and other supporting documents.

Contact Information

Contact name, job title, business address, business telephone numbers and e-mail address.

All information gathered shall be retained confidentially by Lowe & Fletcher Group companies whilst accounts or enquiries are live and then for seven years after any account or active enquiry becomes inactive. Lowe & Fletcher Group companies will never share your data with third party organisations. We would only share retained data without your consent if we were bound to comply with legal obligations such as a criminal investigation.

Credit Card transactions

Customers who purchase goods by way of a credit card transaction should be aware that in addition to the above information we store evidence of the transaction and the credit card details for 7 years in line with Company Law. After this date the records are destroyed.
